LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Joe Johnson: Re-Creating a Bulls Dynasty?

Michael Jordan.

We all know the name.  The name inspires greatness, determination, grit, and overwhelming success.

No doubt Michael Jordan was if not the greatest, one of the greatest ever to play the game of basketball.

He had individual talent that will never be seen again in the NBA.  His individual success came from his attributes by which we have all come to know his name.

However, his team success came from a tremendous supporting cast.

Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and Horace Grant are just some of the names that surrounded Jordan and provided him with the team talent to bring championships to the city of Chicago.

LeBron is one of the most exciting and individually talented players in the NBA today.

However, if he is to match the substantial impact that Jordan and the Bulls had on the game of basketball, he needs a supporting cast that is capable of achieving such a daunting task.

Would Dwayne Wade and Joe Johnson be capable?

Definitely.

With James, Wade, and Johnson all NBA free agents this summer, and talks of the trio wanting to all play for the same team, that would be a force to be reckoned with.

Possible destinations could be many, but narrowed down to two teams: The New York Knicks and The Chicago Bulls.

Let me first say that the possibility of LeBron making his glorified return to the Cleveland Cavaliers was erased with the firing of head coach Mike Brown.

You cannot find a coach who can win 120-plus games in two seasons at the nearest corner store.

So back to New York.

Would there be any better stage for LeBron James and company to try to match Michael Jordan and company than Madison Square Garden?

These three together would light up the Madison Square Garden brighter than the Fourth of July.

LeBron James has the swagger and persona to lead the Knicks and to handle the big city living and media spotlight that comes with playing in New York City.

But, the city of Chicago is another possibility, and a better fit for King James.

How happy would Bulls fans be if LeBron led the way to another six championship dynasty with Wade and Johnson?

What is convenient to LeBron about the Bulls is that the team is very young.  Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah, and Luol Deng could grow up with LeBron James and the free agent crew of Dwayne Wade and Joe Johnson.

Chemistry between players is an important asset to a team that wins championships on a regular basis.  If this group of players can grow up together, there could be a long string of championships coming for the Bulls.

LeBron James has amazing individual skill that has been showcased for his entire young career in the NBA.

Without a doubt he has the talent to win finals MVPs and league MVPs that will solidify him as one of the individual greats to ever play the game.

But, he needs to grow up with a group of players that will provide him with the team chemistry and talent needed to conquer the final frontier of a great dynasty: championships.

LeBron may be named "King James," but he needs his crowns to prove his royalty.  Dwayne Wade and Joe Johnson can help him forge many.

If this trio is called together to play in Chicago, the dynasty that was "Da Bulls" during the times of Michael Jordan could be resurrected.
